Teriyaki Chicken

Different ways to enjoy teriyaki chicken:

  • served with rice

  • served with angle hair pasta

  • as a lettuce wrap

  • over some freshly chopped lettuce

Ingredients for this recipe:

  • 1 lb Grounded Chicken

  • 2 minced Garlic Cloves

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper

  • 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce (for my homemade Teriyaki Sauce)

  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable or Olive Oil

  • 1 1/2 cups finely Chopped Broccoli (equals to one large broccoli head)

  • 2 thinly Sliced Carrots

  • 1/2 Onion, finely chopped

  • chopped Green Onions, Sesame Seeds (I used “everything but the bagel seasoning” for garnish)


  1. In a large over medium-high heat add 1 tablespoon oil, 1 lb grounded chicken, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook and crumble until chicken is no longer pink.

2. Add in sliced carrots, chopped broccoli, chopped onion, and 1 cup teriyaki sauce. Stir well and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

3. Serve over cooked rice then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
