Bakery Style Strawberry Scones

Savory and buttery, these Bakery Style Strawberry Scones are filled with fresh strawberries and topped with sparkling sugar. A bakery fresh goodie made right your your kitchen. These make the perfect breakfast and snack treat, enjoyed with some coffee or tea.

Used in this recipe:





Ingredients for this recipe:

  • 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar

  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 large Egg

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 cup cold Unsalted Butter, shredded or cubbed

  • 3/4I cup cold Milk, plus more for brushing top

  • 1 cup Strawberries, cubed


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400*F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.



2. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.


3. Work in shredded butter or cubbed butter until well incorporated. Pour in milk, vanilla, egg and mix together until combined. Add in strawberries and kneed dough until strawberries are incorporated.



4. Transfer dough onto floured surface. Flatten into 6” circle and cut into 8 wedges. Transfer onto prepared baking sheet.

5. Brush the surface with milk and bake for 20 minutes.
