Honey Biscuits

Different ways to enjoy biscuits:

Ingredients for biscuits:

  • 2 1/2 All Purpose Flour

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Baking Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon Salt

  • 2 Sticks Unsalted Butter (frozen) + 2 Teaspoons (melted for topping)

  • 1 Cup Milk (I used whole milk)

  • 2 Teaspoon Honey

  • 1/2 Tablespoon “everything but the bagel seasoning” (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 425*F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl combine 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, 1 1/2 Tbsp baking powder, and 1 tsp salt. Grate frozen butter into mixture and combine until crumbly.

  3. Add 1 cup milk and 2 tsp honey. Kneed until loose dough forms. Move to a floured surface and kneed dough until smooth. Flatten to about 1 1/2 in thickness.

  4. Using a biscuit cutter or oval glass cup, firmly cut into dough. (without twisting) Place biscuits onto prepared baking sheets, brush 2 tsp melted butter, and sprinkle “everything but bagel seasoning” if desired.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
