Different ways to enjoy biscuits:
with jam (recipe to my Raspberry & Blackberry Sauce/Jam)
butter
cream cheese & nutella
sausage gravy
avocado
sandwich meat
egg
coffee
tea
Ingredients for biscuits:
2 1/2 All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Sticks Unsalted Butter (frozen) + 2 Teaspoons (melted for topping)
1 Cup Milk (I used whole milk)
2 Teaspoon Honey
1/2 Tablespoon “everything but the bagel seasoning” (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425*F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl combine 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, 1 1/2 Tbsp baking powder, and 1 tsp salt. Grate frozen butter into mixture and combine until crumbly.
Add 1 cup milk and 2 tsp honey. Kneed until loose dough forms. Move to a floured surface and kneed dough until smooth. Flatten to about 1 1/2 in thickness.
Using a biscuit cutter or oval glass cup, firmly cut into dough. (without twisting) Place biscuits onto prepared baking sheets, brush 2 tsp melted butter, and sprinkle “everything but bagel seasoning” if desired.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
